About these terms

These terms govern your use of CareerFlip, published by Sico Software Ltd ("we", "us", "Sico Software"), a company registered in Scotland. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What CareerFlip does

CareerFlip analyses your CV and work preferences using AI to suggest alternative career directions and surface relevant job listings. It is an information and discovery tool.

It is not a recruitment agency, career counselling service, or employment intermediary. We are not party to any application or hiring process.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of the service.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to use CareerFlip. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You must not use CareerFlip to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions
• Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the service's operation
• Upload false, misleading, or fabricated CV information
• Upload another person's CV or personal data without their explicit consent

AI-generated content

Outputs generated by AI within CareerFlip are provided for informational purposes only. They are not professional advice of any kind. Always apply your own judgement before making decisions based on AI-generated content. Sico Software accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated outputs.

Purchases and billing

Some features require a one-time payment, processed securely via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Access is granted for the period purchased from the date of payment. We do not offer refunds except where required by law.

Discover tier grants 30-day access; Pivot Pack grants 90-day access. Free tier is subject to fair-use limits.

Third-party job listings

Job listings are sourced from third-party job boards (Adzuna, Reed, CareerJet, The Muse, RemoteOK, Jooble) and are provided without warranty. We do not verify the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listing. Apply to roles through the original job board's site.

Intellectual property

CareerFlip's software, design, and interface are owned by Sico Software Ltd. You retain ownership of any content you upload. You grant Sico Software a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Scots law, Sico Software's total liability for any claim arising from use of CareerFlip is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or £100. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or economic loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@sico.software. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
